Featuring Jean-Pierre Calteux (1911-1983)

Jean-Pierre Calteux (1911-1983) was one of the most famous and popular Luxembourgish artists of his time. He studied at the School of Decorative Arts in Strasbourg and won the Strasbourg City Prize in 1932.

He was a member of the CAL (Cercle Artistique Luxembourgeois) and won the Prix Grand-Duc Adolphe in 1954. His exceptional skills in portrait painting equal the great Florentine Master's work. This gallery offers a glimpse into his master pieces.
